Can I buy a car under 2021 lockdown restrictions?

When you enquire about a car, you can also ask us for an individual video viewing of the car, highlighting area’s that are important to you. Can I get car finance during lockdown?
Yes. At each site of the Dace Motor Group there is a finance manager who can help you find the ideal finance deal for you. How does "Click and Collect" work during lockdown for buying a car?
Click and collect is simple, choose the car you want and then get in touch with our team by phone or email. Once you have secured the car with a deposit, your Sales Executive will assist you with everything. Payment of balances are required by transfer, documentation is all completed online. Buying a used car couldn’t be any safer or easier.
Is collecting a car essential travel?
All car servicing, repair and MOT centres can remain open during Lockdown, as they’re classified as an essential service. While a car purchase is not itemised as essential travel, the government guidance says that you can leave your home if you have a reasonable excuse such as 'buying goods or services’ that you need.
Can I have the car delivered to my home?
Yes. Delivery services are permitted as long as hygiene and social distancing guidelines are followed. Choose your car online and have it delivered right to your doorstep.
Is it safe to buy a car during lockdown?
Safety for our staff and customers is of paramount importance to us. Our staff obey strict guidelines and these also apply to the movement and preparation of our vehicles. All sales during National lockdown can only be done on a click and collect basis or home delivery, by agreement.
